1. fluff

1. Sick day! You're down with the flu or some injury, you're bedridden or at the hospital. Aren't you lucky that that special someone came to visit you?
2. Date night! You've made special plans to show that someone just how much you love them and nothing can go wrong tonight.
3. Cheer up! One or both of you is feeling down and it's time to get out of that slump by either finding a way to distract yourself or talking it out with the other person.
4. Love confession! Your stomach is doing flip flops and your heart is racing, but you've read all the signs right, and it's time to let that other person know you feel the same way.
5. Goodbye for now! One of you is going away for some reason (It can be as simple or angsty as you want it to be) and you may be back or you may not, but you want to spend the time you've got left where you are with someone special.
6. Need a friend! You just want to hang out with the guys/girls and have a little fun.
7. I'm sorry! You had a fight with someone and now it's time to kiss and make up. . . or at least make up.
8. Been so long! You're back after a long trip somewhere and now it's time to meet up with someone you've missed a lot and make up for lost time!
9. I'll defend you until the end! You're going to fight for that person and you're going to let them know it or show them, whichever comes first.

2. hurt & comfort

1. INJURY. You've been injured. Broken bones or bleeding out or maybe just a tiny little papercut. The choice is yours.
2. SICKNESS. You're sick and laid up in bed, at home or in a hospital. The severity is up to you.
3. FEAR/ANXIETY. Something is happening and you're scared beyond belief.
4. LOSS OF SENSES. Sight, touch, taste, hearing, smell, etc. You've lost some important sense or ability and now you're left to deal with it.
5. DESPAIR. Nothing is good or right anymore and you can't shake the depression. Maybe that friend of yours can help though...
6. BREAKUP. You've been dumped. You need someone to comfort you, possibly by the one who dumped you.
7. MAKE UP. Fight or break up, it's time to makeup.
8. RESCUED. You've just been held captived and/or tortured for however long and finally, someone has come to the rescue.
9. BAD ROMANCE. Fight, cheated on, abused, whatever the case is, someone else can clearly seeyou need comfort from someone who isn't your terrible lover tonight.
10. LOSS. You've experience a loss of some kind and need help getting through it.

3. ELEVATORSTUCK
You are now being forced to endure the other person's presence. It doesn't have to be an elevator. You could be new neighbours, or locked in lockers together, or mysteriously tied together. idk. GO FOR IT.

4. Random!
You choose or make up your own scene to play out.

[ He let's go and drops down to the floor at hearing that. ]

Um...am I being a bother to you, Strider?

[ Welp. ]

Yeah. A little bit.

[ Oh. ]

Ah... [ He wrings his hands together and swallows. ] My apologies. If you'll excuse me...

[ Well, he wanted to hang out...guess he'll go eat dry wall elsewhere. He shuffles out of the room. ]

[ He can see that nonexistant tag tucked between your legs, Jake. But he doesn't comment. He just turns back around and tries to pick up where he left off. ]

[ YOU WON'T SEE HIM AGAIN FOR A FEW HOURS, DIRK...

...OR HEAR HIM.

Is that suspicious? ]

[ THat is really, really suspicious. But he's still busily clicking away.

Eventually he has to stop for something to eat. So he'll be pushing away and going to go eat. ]

[ Food sounds fantastic! That might be why Jake is...

...outside the kitchen. Like, outside outside. Eating a twinkie as he's perched on the very top of the high fence that surrounds their little safehouse. He looks pretty dirty and messed up, but fuck if he looks happy, too. ]

[ Jake.

Jake.

Jake, Jake, Jake. What are you doing. ] English!

[ He looks over his shoulder, twinkie hanging out of his mouth. And then smiles around it, waving jovially. ]

Mmmph!

[ my heart can't take your bullshit. ]

Get in here!

[ But look how happy he is.

He looks a little confused at first. There's not a zombie in sight, Dirk! And he's wearing his holsters anyway. He's ready to play "Snipe a Zombie" if he needs to. ]

Mmph-- [ Okay, wait. He stuffs the rests in his mouth. ]

Strider! [ He snatches up a satchel he had hanging from some of the barbed wire. ] You must see what I was able to snatch!

Get in here. [ He is not taking any of it. ]

[ Jake tilts his head to the side, then throws the satchel over his shoulder and climbs down. He hops the last five feet, stuffing the wrapper of the twinkie into one of his pockets--don't litter, even int he apocalypse--as he walks back over to the main building.

Does Dirk want to hang out now?? ]

[ Grabbing him and hauling him in. Jesus Christ. ]

What are you doing out there?

[ He raises his brows, grip tightening on the bag. ]

I decided to go on a little exploration. [ Then he grins, lifting up the bag and opening it up. ] There's one of those convenience stores a few blocks down--I recalled passing it when we were looking for a proper location to set up base! It hasn't been touched in weeks, I'd imagine, by the amount of dust bunnies that were threatening my shoe laces...

[ Jake starts dumping the non-perishable food he's found. ]

But look! The boundless treasures--I could barely fit them in my sack!

[ That really doesn't matter. ]

So you went out alone [ Even if his voice remains it's usual flat, composed monotone, there's a nasty edge to it. That was not smart. ] to check it out.

[ His excited look dies a little bit. ]

Well...I didn't want to upset anyone else's daily plans and quite frankly I've been going a little stir crazy being cooped up inside all day long. So I thought I'd at least make my entertainment productive.

And you went off without telling anyone to boot. [ Dirk's eyes narrow behind the shades, he tilts his head back ever so slightly - the glasses give off a nasty gleam. ]

I grappled with the possibility of this conversation, but, ah...it certainly is starting to seem that way, isn't it?

Jesus.

[ He looks so angry, Jake. Or. As angry as he ever looks. His jaw is set and you can see his eyebrows furrowing. ]

[ And now Jake starts looking guilty. You can almost see the ears go down and his tail droop between his legs. If he had one, you know. ]

...You have my apologies. I, um, I'll give you a right heads up notification when I venture out next time.

Don't go anywhere without a partner, Jake. That's rule number one.

[ but he grabs one of the bags and turns the nearest can over in his hand. ]

[ Jake fidgets, shifting his weight back and forth. ]

Strider...we haven't had an undead invasion in a few weeks. I feel as if everyone else is doing something worth a damn around here except me.

You're staying alive. That's more important than anything else here.
