1. Sick day! You're down with the flu or some injury, you're bedridden or at the hospital. Aren't you lucky that that special someone came to visit you?
2. Date night! You've made special plans to show that someone just how much you love them and nothing can go wrong tonight.
3. Cheer up! One or both of you is feeling down and it's time to get out of that slump by either finding a way to distract yourself or talking it out with the other person.
4. Love confession! Your stomach is doing flip flops and your heart is racing, but you've read all the signs right, and it's time to let that other person know you feel the same way.
5. Goodbye for now! One of you is going away for some reason (It can be as simple or angsty as you want it to be) and you may be back or you may not, but you want to spend the time you've got left where you are with someone special.
6. Need a friend! You just want to hang out with the guys/girls and have a little fun.
7. I'm sorry! You had a fight with someone and now it's time to kiss and make up. . . or at least make up.
8. Been so long! You're back after a long trip somewhere and now it's time to meet up with someone you've missed a lot and make up for lost time!
9. I'll defend you until the end! You're going to fight for that person and you're going to let them know it or show them, whichever comes first.

2. hurt & comfort

1. INJURY. You've been injured. Broken bones or bleeding out or maybe just a tiny little papercut. The choice is yours.
2. SICKNESS. You're sick and laid up in bed, at home or in a hospital. The severity is up to you.
3. FEAR/ANXIETY. Something is happening and you're scared beyond belief.
4. LOSS OF SENSES. Sight, touch, taste, hearing, smell, etc. You've lost some important sense or ability and now you're left to deal with it.
5. DESPAIR. Nothing is good or right anymore and you can't shake the depression. Maybe that friend of yours can help though...
6. BREAKUP. You've been dumped. You need someone to comfort you, possibly by the one who dumped you.
7. MAKE UP. Fight or break up, it's time to makeup.
8. RESCUED. You've just been held captived and/or tortured for however long and finally, someone has come to the rescue.
9. BAD ROMANCE. Fight, cheated on, abused, whatever the case is, someone else can clearly seeyou need comfort from someone who isn't your terrible lover tonight.
10. LOSS. You've experience a loss of some kind and need help getting through it.

3. ELEVATORSTUCK
You are now being forced to endure the other person's presence. It doesn't have to be an elevator. You could be new neighbours, or locked in lockers together, or mysteriously tied together. idk. GO FOR IT.

4. Random!
You choose or make up your own scene to play out.

[ It probably means he should be getting ready to dodge - btu he's lost in getting this sequence exactly right. He's not even paying attention to Jake. ]

[ Yep, that sounds about right. Jake's got his legs hooked on the pipe as well as his hands, but he decides to stretch them out instead and do a bit of a swinging motion.

Poke. Poke. Poke. ]

[ He's got everything mapped out in his head

and he's -

reaching around to grab Jake's arm and yank him down. ]

[ OOF!

Well, that hurt. The floor is pretty hard, but Jake pops right back up, rubbing his head. ]

That was unnecessary!

Sorry. I thought that's what you wanted.

[ Maybe he wanted to reenact the scene from Spider Man? Now you'll never know, Strider. ]

What I want is to know how long you can spend peddling out that blasted moonspeak!

[ Jake purses his lips, scooting right up next to Dirk's chair and looks at the computer screen...then Dirk. ]

You've already been in this cramped space for hours.

This isn't something that can be done in ten minutes, English. When I'm done then we'll all be a hell of a lot safer.

What the dickens are you even doing?

Programming an automated defence system.

[ It registers and his eyes widen. ]

We will be able to go outside then??

If everything goes as I intend it to, you'd be able to sunbathe naked on the lawn without a care in the world. [ He scratches the side of his face, shutting his eyes for a second to give them a rest. ] I'll have both attack droids on patrol and a laser grid further out. The droids may even be capable of exterminating all of the undead in the area.

[ And his face brightens, and Jake is practically wiggling on the floor. ]

What can I do to assist your endeavour, old chum?

[ He is going to be so much more manageable when he can go outside, Dirk. ]

Just sit there and be good.

[ And his face falls.

Just sit?

Jake doesn't just sit...for very long, at least.

So there he is. Sitting. Looking hopeful as Dirk types away.

And he starts to fidget. ]

[ Clack-clack-klickity-clack. ]

[ Five minutes have passed. Jake has been rather good.

And kind of swaying back and forth. Gaze wandering around the room. He starts opening drawers to Dirk's desk.

What's in there?

Nothing interesting.

What about the next drawer?

Nope.

Maybe he will pull them all out so they make a nice pyramid shape. ]

[ That earns the slightest of pauses.

Then, determined to ignore it, he starts on the next line. ]

[ Well, that amused him for half a minute. He gets on his hands and knees and moves around to the other side of the desk and does the same thing.

Okay. At least it's symmetrical he guesses. He goes back to sitting and looking around and...

...Hey, what's that?

Is that part of a robot? Upgrades? Jake goes to investigate, scooting over to pick up what appears to be some sort of arm...poking at the fingers. ]

[ Tappa tappa tappa-h?

... Wait a second, where is Jake? Oh no. No no. He lifts his hands off the keyboard and turns around, and -]

Don't touch that.

[ Jake freezes, having been in the middle of seeing how big the robot hand is compared to his.

Awkwardly...he puts hit back and sits with his legs crossed, holding onto his ankles.

Innocent. See? ]

Ah...sorry. Curiosity gets the better of me sometimes.

I know. Look, don't touch.

[ He looks a little guilty, giving Dirk an awkward grin. ]

[ You can't see it, but he's rolling his eyes as he returns to his work. ]
